Gropper have been honoured for their long-standing product quality for the sixth time in a row. In March, the company received the award from the German Agricultural Society (DLG) in Fulda. With this award, the private label specialist proves once again how committed it is to high product quality and that sustainable quality performance comes naturally at Gropper.
“Over 80 years of experience with dairy products, strict quality requirements, and continuous product improvements have made us the company we are today. The quality is only right when the materials we use meet our high demands – and the customer can taste this. Therefore, we would first like to take this opportunity to thank our long-time partners, the milk suppliers. They are the key to our success,” says Hans Guggenmoos, Head of Quality Assurance, Product Development, and Environment at Gropper. For the family-run company from Bissingen, the award is a great honour and at the same time an incentive to live up to their responsibilities when it comes to processing milk.
Gropper have submitted their products to voluntary DLG quality inspections for over 20 years, in recent years always receiving the necessary number of distinctions according to the DLG test centre’s inspection criteria. This is a prerequisite for dairy products to receive the award. During the inspection, inter alia the taste, smell, appearance, and texture of the products are assessed. On top of this, laboratory analyses and packaging inspections provide insights into Gropper’s sustainable quality performance.
