Here at Gropper, we have processed organic milk into the best organic products for many years. More and more people are consciously deciding to purchase organically certified food – and there are many good reasons for this:

• Animal welfare – the cows have more space and greater comfort
• Quality and purity – organic food is free from flavour enhancers, artificial flavouring and colourants
• Health and the environment – no synthetic pesticides are used for the feed and it is not genetically modified

The organic farms that supply Gropper’s Bissingen site are located between Landsberg am Lech and Marktoberdorf in the Allgäu region, between Weyarn and Rottach-Egern in Upper Bavaria and in the Swabian Alb. We foster direct contact with the farmers and specially collect and deliver organic milk. This is kept strictly separate from the conventional milk throughout all the processing and filling stages.

All of our organic milk suppliers must have EC organic certification, adhere to organic farming regulations and belong to an organic association. They therefore fulfil the strict criteria of associations like Bioland, Bio-Kreis, Naturland or Demeter. Independent auditors perform on-site supplier inspections to ensure adherence with the organic criteria established by both the EC and the organic associations.
