Within the framework of the International Quality Assessment of Organic Products, the foodstuffs test centre of the German Agricultural Society again awarded Molkerei Gropper (Gropper Dairy) from Bissingen ten gold medals for the outstanding quality of their products. The prizes were awarded at the BioFach trade fair in Nuremberg. The experts of the German Agricultural Society tested more than 1,000 foodstuffs from organic farms this year. "This award is proof that the company produces the highest quality organic foodstuffs. The products awarded stand for high-quality and tasty food. All products were tested by experts in neutral tests that were based on modern and scientifically proven testing methods," said Petra Krause, Project Manager at the Foodstuffs Test Centre of the German Agricultural Society.
"We set ourselves the highest standards when manufacturing our products. The recognition of the German Agricultural Society shows that our quality standards are paying off," said Heinrich Gropper, owner of the dairy. "Our suppliers share in these standards – which is crucial for our success." Receiving a prize from the German Agricultural Society meant that the organic foodstuffs had to pass a comprehensive, sensory quality inspection based on the criteria of appearance, consistency, smell and taste. The results of the sensory tests were accompanied by a packaging and labelling inspection, as well as other laboratory tests.
